Embraer President discusses the company’s participation in IBAS
When it comes to aviation in Brazil, one of the largest aerospace companies in the world with more than 45 years of existence could not be left out of the IBAS – International Brazil Air Show 2017.
The Brazilian company Embraer is involved in the design, development, manufacture, sale and after-sales support of aircraft for the commercial aviation and executive aviation segments, as well as offering integrated solutions for defense and security and systems.
According to the president of Embraer, Paulo Cesar de Souza e Silva, Brazil is one of the largest aeronautical markets in the world and has its own aerospace industry. “The realization of a local air show is a natural development of the preponderant role of the country in the segment and can contribute to foment the sector, stimulating the interest of the new generations on the subject”, emphasizes Paulo.
Embraer will be present in the first edition of the IBAS with static aircraft exhibition and with the participation of its executives in the seminars and conferences that will take place during the event. The president of Embraer emphasizes that the debates are undoubtedly the best way to bring together people and organizations with common interests, providing a personal meeting of the main actors in the sector. “Our participation in the forums is fundamental to present our vision as a manufacturer, which will assist in discussions on the development of the aerospace sector in Brazil and Latin America,” says Paulo.
The manufacturer understands that the scenario is challenging, but according to the President, Latin America is a region with vast potential for development. “We hope and we always hope for the improvement of the economic indicators, which of course are also reflected in advances in the perspectives for the entire sector,” concludes the president of Embraer.
