Air Lab Innovation and new format are IBAS 2019 highlights

The 2nd Edition of IBAS – International Brazil Air Show will have a new format focusing on trends, technologies and innovation, as well as the IBAS Startup Hub, which will bring together the most innovative Startups in the industry in Air Lab Innovation. 

IBAS – International Brazil Air Show 2019 will be held on September 11th, 12th and 13th, 2019, at the GRU Airport – São Paulo International Airport. The 2nd edition of the event will have a new format focusing on trends, technologies and innovation for the strengthening of air transportation in Latin America, with suggestions from sponsors and supporters. One of the highlights of the event will be the Air Lab Innovation, which will address topics such as technology and innovation, drones, georeferencing, operations and passengers, and the future of technology. The space will include IBAS Startup Hub, an exclusive area for startups in the sector that will also have an award that will recognize the best projects.

The event is performed by Sator and co-accomplished by GRU Airport, with institutional support from the Brazilian Air Force (FAB), the Ministry of Transport, the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) and the Brazilian Association of Airline Companies (ABEAR). “We will have many news at IBAS – International Brazil Air Show 2019, with emphasis on innovation and connectivity. Air Lab Innovation is a space developed for this purpose, where we will bring product launches, demonstrations and presentations of organizations that breathe innovation, as well as a prize for startups with solutions for this sector” comments Paula Faria, executive director of Sator and creator of IBAS – International Brazil Air Show.

And concludes: “IBAS – International Brazil Air Show 2019 aims to position itself in the Latin American market as a leading event that will present trends, technologies and innovation, as well as activities and unprecedented content for this purpose”, said Paula Faria.

The first edition of IBAS – International Brazil Air Show, held in Rio de Janeiro in 2017, had more than 6,000 business participants at Galeão, as well as around 150,000 spectators in Copacabana. In general, the event had 130 exhibitors and 177 speakers, composed of CEOs, experts, regulators, military and industry exponents, among other differentials.
